Infrastructural Development through acquisition of a Permanent Head Office Complex for the Commission
The Commission had been operating on rented office accommodation since its inception in 1989 continued to impinge on staff morale, productivity and operational efficiency. In 2017, the government approved a permanent and befitting Head office accommodation complex for the Commission. The Commission is now housed in an exquisite and well-furnished state -of -the art office complex at the Defunct National Educational Technology Centre, Kaduna at Km 4 Kaduna Zaria Express Way, Kaduna State. The Commission was equally allocated twenty-one (21) units of houses at the National Open University Kaduna Study Centre, at the same location.
Remodeled
Remodeled and rehabilitated the three (3) blocks of Office Complex at the Commission’s Headquarters..
Procured
Procured and installed exquisite office equipment and furniture at the Headquarters office Complex, Liaison office and zonal offices of the Commission
Constructed
Constructed a perimeter fence around the Commission Headquarters
Rehabilitated
Rehabilitated the industrial borehole water system, access roads and befitting landscaping as well as electricity
This record time outstanding achievement has taken the Commission to an unprecedented summit and occupying an enviable position amongst other sister parastatals of the Federal Ministry of Education (FME). Interestingly, today we are sharing these offices with National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS), and are housing National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education (NMEC) North West Zonal Office as well as Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC, Kaduna State Office.
