Mallam Bimbi Tahir Adamu

Mallam Bimbi Tahir Adamu, born on 31st December, 1965 is an evaluation and quality assurance expert who traverses and explores facts and figures to unveil evidence based data for future planning. A critical task he cherishes that ensures quality and standards in nomadic schools.
He obtained a National Certificate in Education (NCE) and Bachelor of Education Technical (Metal Works Technology) both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1989 and 1998 respectively. In his strive for expertise, he bagged a Master’s degree in Test and Measurement from Bayero University, Kano in 2009. A skilled quality assurance professional to the core, grounded in research and evaluation with track record of experience that spans over three decades, he heads the quality assurance department of the Commission previously referred to as Monitoring, Evaluation and Statistics. Having garnered more experience, he was seconded for four years to APESS-PAMOBARMA project as an international Consultant (Programme Omcer). A trans-border education project for pastoral nomads, that cuts across Niger, Benin Republic and Nigeria. He also received Intensive Internship Training on Interactive Radio Instruction [IRI] Methodology for nomads under the Universal Basic Education Second Primary Education Project II (PEP II) conducted by Open Learning Systems Education Trust [OLSET], Johannesburg, South Africa, from Sept,29th – 24th Oct, 2003. Mal. Bimbi was also a State Lead Consultant on Access and Retention under the Girl Child Education Project (GEP 3), UNICEF, Bauchi, Bauchi Zonal Office.
Mallam Tahir attended, participated and facilitated numerous capacity development programmes, conferences, seminars, workshops and roundtable meetings at local, national, continental and international levels.
