Mrs Ifeoma Ogbuka

Director, Consultancy & Outreach Services

Mrs. Ifeoma H. Ogbuka holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (2012) from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna. She is also a holder of a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration (2001) from Kaduna Polytechnic and another Post Graduate Diploma in Education (2016) from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). In the same vein, she acquired a Higher National Diploma in Administration from the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State in 1992. The Omcer over the years attended a number of middle and top executive level continuing professional development training which in no small measure contributed in sharpening her capacity in service delivery across board in the Commission.

As a seasoned administrator, Mrs. Ogbuka has worked in virtually all the departments of the Commission in various capacities. On being employed into the service of the Commission in 1999, she was posted to the Department of Finance and Accounts. Thereafter she served in Monitoring, Evaluation and Statistics department, then Omce of the Executive Secretary, later to the departments of Programme Development and Administration. Her promotion to the position of Deputy Director (Administration) saw the omcer saddled with the responsibilities of Desk omcer Pension. As an omcer who went round the departments and units of the Commission, she understood the workings and operations of all of them. In view of her vast experience, dedication to duty, professional excellence, integrity and unalloyed loyalty; she was mandated to head the Store unit, a sensitive outfit of the Commission. The omcer has been opportune to serve in a number of Committees, of note to mention are: Chairman Junior staff Appointment & Promotion Sub-Committee, Secretary and later Chairman ACTU, and Chairman, Technical Evaluation Sub- Committee.

Mrs. Ifeoma Ogbuka rose through the ranks, transversed virtually all departments of the Commission and with that exceptional opportunity; she was in 2023 promoted to the position of a Director Consultancy and Outreach Services under the Office of the Executive Secretary.
