A financial expert to the core, Dalhatu Shehu Sa’idu was born on 13th September, 1968 in Zaria, Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna state. An all-rounder in financial circles, he obtained a National Diploma in Accounting in 1988 from Kano State Polytechnic. He proceeded to Bayero University, Kano where he bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 1992. A highly motivated and meticulous accountant that works with team spirit and a goal getter. He takes time to trace cash movement kobo- by kobo. A financial controller who is always conscious of datelines and objective in service delivery.

Before his appointment by the National Commission for Nomadic Education, he taught in Kufena College and Government Secondary School, Gamagira, both in Kaduna state from 1993-1997.

A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) on Associate grade. He became qualified to earn this grade from 1998-2005. Mal. Dalhatu, a financial wizard in all its ramifications. He obtained a Master degree in Banking and Finance in 1994 from Bayero University, Kano. He is observant and exhibits the spirit of transparency and accountability by thoroughly exploring the movement of funds with special attention to details. As a financial controller and an alumnus of Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Badagry, where he acquired a certificate in public sector auditing in 1997. He was posted to head the internal audit unit of the Commission from 1997-2012. Prior to that he was in charge of budget and funds unit in the finance and accounts department of the Commission. While as Internal Auditor of the Commission, he skilfully and professionally played host to several external audit teams including those of Accountant General of the Federation, Auditor General of the Federation and Presidential Task team on personnel audit. A versatile financial guru, he is currently the Director of Finance and Accounts Department of the Commission from 2022 to date.
